We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.
You will work closely with our team to provide nurturing relationships and support to each child, helping them to develop emotional growth and positive attitudes towards life.
This is an excellent chance for someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals and contributing to a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop strong, trusting relationships with children and young people to support their emotional growth and development
- Collaborate with the therapeutic team to implement individualised care plans that cater to each child's unique needs
- Provide guidance and support to children who have been traumatised, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and attachment
- Participate in regular supervision and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Cert IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent
- Awareness and appreciation of Aboriginal cultures and communities
- Valid Police Check and Working with Children's Check
- Current COVID-19 vaccination (recommended)
