Health and Wellness Strategist

Your role at our organization
You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing health and wellness strategies, and coordinating health, safety, and wellness initiatives within the division in accordance with our occupational health and safety strategy.
This position will work across multiple sites.
The Position:
- Assist the OHS Manager in ensuring Divisional compliance with occupational health and safety legislative requirements.
- Support managers and supervisors in understanding and carrying out their roles to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
- Assist in developing and implementing an injury prevention and wellness program.
- Contribute to occupational health and safety policy development and implementation.
- Participate in risk assessments and recommend risk management strategies.
You will have sound knowledge and understanding of contemporary occupational health and safety legislation and practice, including risk assessment, hazard identification, assessment, and control.
To succeed you will have the capacity to provide occupational health and safety support and advice with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety is desirable.
