Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and results-driven sales professional to join our team as a Business Development Hydraulic Sales Professional. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Performance: Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets, expand existing customer relationships, and develop new business opportunities through proactive lead generation and conversion.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of our hydraulic solutions and services, including product features, applications, and technical specifications.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication, solution-based sales, and consultative selling techniques.
  • Quote Preparation: Prepare and submit quotes to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Order Management: Monitor and expedite orders, resolve any issues or discrepancies, and ensure seamless delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and logistics, to ensure efficient order processing and resolution of customer inquiries.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and industry awareness.

Requirements:

  • Strong Commercial Acumen: Possess strong commercial acumen, sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to interpret part manuals and catalogues.
  • Basic Technical Knowledge: Have basic technical knowledge of hydraulic solutions and services, including application and practices.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process and manage customer orders, quotes, and other administrative tasks.
  • Computer Literacy: Be proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, with experience using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
