About the Role:
As a Senior Nurse Leader, you will provide leadership and supervision to Personal Care Workers and support Registered Nurses in their role to promote a harmonious team approach to the delivery of resident care at Uniting AgeWell.
- Deliver high-quality, person-centered care to residents and families, including consideration for cultural, spiritual and individual needs
- Provide nursing care to residents with complex needs, such as palliative care, dementia support, restorative care and pain management
- Support nursing staff regarding assessment and care planning processes, documentation and evaluation of care outcomes
- Analyze risk, implement strategies and participate in clinical handover with Registered Nurses
- Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model in coordinating daily routines and adhering to safe practice measures in medication management
- Casual opportunity working 3 shifts a week
About You:
You are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our residents and want to support them to live life to their potential.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Div 2)
- Experience as an EEN in residential aged care or home care (preferred)
- Experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired)
- Proficiency in decision-making, critical analysis and on-the-spot problem-solving
- Demonstrated ability to delegate and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with exemplary communication skills
- Available and committed to work in the specified roster vacancies

- A current Working With Children Check card
- Current and ongoing flu vaccinations

- Ability to pass a national police clearance
