Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and skilled hospitality professional to fill the role of Front Of House Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing front of house duties, including staff supervision, timesheet review and processing, on-the-job training delivery, customer service provision, and compliance with Work Health and Safety policies.

About the Position

This is a full-time permanent role located in Traralgon, offering a salary package plus benefits. The successful candidate will receive extensive training for ongoing career development.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day front of house operations, ensuring exceptional customer service standards are consistently met.
  • Supervise a team of 10-15 staff members, providing guidance, support, and coaching to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Review and process timesheets accurately, ensuring prompt payment and maintaining a high level of employee satisfaction.
  • Develop and deliver effective on-the-job training programs, equipping staff with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a senior role within Retail or Hospitality, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in training and developing staff, with a focus on enhancing their skills and performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise a large team of staff members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • High standard of customer service, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
