About the Role

Civilmart is a leading Australian manufacturer of civil concrete products, supplying to various sectors including residential development, local government, water authorities, civil infrastructure, irrigation, and the plumbing and drainage market.

We are currently seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Civilmart Shepparton Pipes. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the maintenance of our equipment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, set up, and adjust all production machinery as required at site.
  • Use power tools, plant, and equipment efficiently.
  • Perform routine engineering maintenance tasks on plant as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient maintenance, prevent breakdowns, and minimize impact on production schedules.
  • Lubricate production equipment regularly to ensure safe use and minimize breakdowns.
  • Validate processes on plant and equipment to standards as required.
  • Identify critical control points and implement preventive measures.
  • Study drawings and specifications to determine suitable materials, methods, and sequences of operations, and machine settings.
  • Fabricate metal parts for products and assemble metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment.
  • Set up prescribed cutting and shaping tools and dies in machines and set controls for machines.
  • Form metal stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore, and drill metal.
  • Diagnose faults and perform operational maintenance of machines, overhaul, and repair mechanical parts and fluid power equipment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar maintenance role.
  • Completed apprenticeship or trade certificate.
