Opportunity Overview:

A highly skilled and experienced individual is sought to manage the operation of our wind farms from a Control Centre in Canberra. This role offers a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with a focus on maximizing performance and ensuring compliance with market operator requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for remotely managing the operation of our wind farms, monitoring plant and processes to ensure operational requirements are met, and recognizing any deviation from normal conditions. They will also be expected to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including operations managers, electrical contractors, and distribution companies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Vocational Educational Training (VET) or Associate Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in control and monitoring positions
  • Basic knowledge of generation plant operations, preferably in the wind farm sector
  • Familiarity with the Australian energy market
  • Strong data analysis skills
