Job Description

We offer a casual position with a range of shifts to choose from, as well as salary packaging available to eligible employees. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and other stakeholders within the facility.

This role involves providing person-centered, individual care to residents. As a Care Partner, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to our residents pursuing their unique personal goals and passions, enabling them to live full and meaningful lives.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents
  • Ensuring person-centred support and support plans are at the forefront of everything you do
  • Partnering with residents to be involved in the meaningful activities of their life
  • Coordinating with other staff to achieve outcomes and liaising directly with nursing staff regarding any specific health concerns
  • Supporting with everyday activities such as eating, personal hygiene tasks, mobility, household tasks, and leisure activities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to engage residents through a person-centered approach to care and support
  • Works well and contributes effectively within a team environment
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Hold a Certificate III/working towards attaining one (desirable) or willingness to obtain one

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as access to benefits such as discounts at JB HI-FI & The Good Guys, discounts on health insurance through HBF or Medibank, and access to our Wellness Program.
