Job Description: Luxury Wardrobe Professional

We are seeking a Luxury Wardrobe Professional to be at the heart of our property, ensuring all team members' uniforms are prepared and ready for their day. You will maintain high presentation standards and promote a positive experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build memorable connections with both our team members and guests. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Hotels at The Star.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide friendly customer service to our team members, ensuring the garment's quality and cleanliness are maintained.
  • Support the Wardrobe Supervisor with daily operations, such as assigning and allocating uniforms to new recruits.
  • Assist in periodical uniform stock takes and maintain organisation of garments.
  • Ensure personal safety and the safety of other team members, contractors, and be aware of any conveyor belts and other equipment faults to ensure a good, safe, and smooth operation.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Wardrobe and/or Housekeeping functions, demonstrating an understanding of the operational needs in these areas.
  • Knowledge in laundry and understanding different kinds of fabric (desired but not essential).
  • Great communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating initiative and reliability in all tasks.
  • Flexible availability to work across a 24/7 roster.
