Minara Resources, a leading nickel mining and processing company, has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Fixed/Mobile Plant Operator to join our team in Perth. As one of Australia's largest cobalt producers and a major world producer of nickel, our Murrin Murrin site is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation.

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Fixed/Mobile Plant Operator to fill a key position in the calcrete crushing area at Murrin Murrin. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and management of ROM operations, Calcrete stockpile, traffic management and ROM demarcation and exclusion zones
  • Operating of all Mobile and Fixed plant crushing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Operate other plant and equipment in accordance with standard work instructions.
  • Operate machinery that you are authorised and trained to operate.
  • Adhere to the Calcrete Crusher Traffic Management plan.
  • Conduct pre-starts and ongoing inspection on all equipment used.
  • Use two-way radios in a professional manner.
About You

Applicants will have knowledge in fixed plant operations and experience in operating a loader.

Key qualifications include:

  • WA Manual Driver's Licence (HR)
  • Current Front End Loader ticket
  • Current Skid Steer ticket (desirable)
  • Current Forklift ticket (desirable)
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Good Computer skills
  • Good communication skills
