Positive Behaviour Strategies Coordinator

We strive to make a difference in people's lives by providing support and guidance to achieve their goals. Our services focus on employment, education, wellbeing, and independence of individuals, families, and communities across Queensland, Victoria, and South Australia.

As a Positive Behaviour Strategies Coordinator, your primary goal is to improve the quality of life of our NDIS participants through evidence-based approaches and collaboration. You will support participants to gain control, independence, and make positive lifestyle changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish close relationships with participants, their families, and service providers during appointments
  • Provide professional information to people with disability and their support circle regarding positive behaviour strategies
  • Ensure support delivered aligns with the NDIS participant's NDIS Plan
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies in consultation with individuals and families

Requirements:

  • Completed degree qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or similar field
  • Experience or knowledge of contemporary practices and trends in service provision for people with intellectual and/or cognitive disabilities
  • Ability to motivate, build rapport, and attune with participants, their families, and service providers
  • Strong IT, admin, and organisation skills
