Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Provide technical support for vehicle modifications, upgrades, and improvement programs aimed at enhancing reliability and maintainability
  • Offer on-call assistance, participate in vehicle recovery operations, and provide technical guidance to customers
  • Collect and analyze data on faults and repairs, as well as trends in vehicle performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with teams to review and optimize maintenance regimes, reducing costs and risks while ensuring safety
  • Support training initiatives, adhere to occupational health and safety policies, and foster a positive work environment

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working with LRV electrical and mechanical systems
  • In-depth knowledge of rolling stock equipment and maintenance, including Maintenance Operations
  • A working understanding of safety management systems and risk assessment methodologies
  • Strong technical skills for fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication skills for building relationships, engaging, and influencing across all levels, as well as being a team player
