
Strategic Learning Specialist

The Learning Designer plays an integral role in the successful development and implementation of contemporary learning practices and solutions to support the skill and competency development needs of customers.
This is a challenging contract for 2 years based at Osborne headquarters, working under a hybrid model. As part of the P&C Team, you will work closely with a broader learning & development team to design, develop, implement and evaluate blended learning initiatives to increase capability, drive high performance and improve culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing learning programs and tools that cater to diverse customer needs
- Redesigning existing courses to a student-centred online delivery method, incorporating engaging digital content
- Researching innovative training methods and technologies to enhance learning outcomes
- Designing and developing effective e-learning assets for classroom, online and blended delivery to meet learning requirements
- Storyboarding and developing multimedia content for e-learning modules, utilising audio, video, simulations, role-plays and games
- Project management and stakeholder engagement to ensure seamless implementation
- Maintaining project documentation and course materials, ensuring accuracy, organisation and relevance
Requirements:

Desirable Competencies and Experiences:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) and/or Diploma of Training Design and Development (TAE50216)
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Learning Design or a closely related field
- Proficient user of Articulate, Storyline, Microsoft Office and LMS platforms like Moodle, Blackboard, Totara or similar
- Practiced Instructional Designer with expertise in developing blended learning programs in corporate, engineering or operational environments
- Experience working in a national, multi-site technical organisation would be advantageous, with the ability to communicate across a broad customer base
