About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Tax and Treasury Analyst, supporting the business deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing quarterly income tax calculations and tax group reporting packages, including tax effect accounting.
  • Preparing annual income tax returns.
  • Preparing monthly GST returns and fuel tax credit calculations.
  • Preparing FBT returns.
  • Providing tax advice to business units and specialist functions.
  • Assisting with financial and Group reporting requirements from a treasury perspective, including cashflow forecasting.
  • Assisting with transactional banking obligations, including bank platform management.
  • Assisting with insurance policy renewals and insurance queries from the business.

Requirements:

  • Degree Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or Law.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws.
  • Some exposure to Treasury issues.
  • An understanding of IFRS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and high initiative.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
