About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax and Treasury Analyst to join our team in North Sydney. As a key member of our Tax and Treasury function, you will play a critical role in supporting the business deliver exceptional results.

Key responsibilities
  • Prepare quarterly income tax calculations and tax group reporting packages, including tax effect accounting.
  • Prepare annual income tax returns and monthly GST returns and fuel tax credit calculations.
  • Provide tax advice to business units and specialist functions.
  • Assist with financial and Group reporting requirements from a treasury perspective, including cashflow forecasting.
  • Assist with transactional banking obligations, including bank platform management.
  • Assist with insurance policy renewals and insurance queries from the business.
About you
  • Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or Law.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws.
  • Some exposure to Treasury issues.
  • An understanding of IFRS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and high initiative.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
