Job Title: Dean of Teaching & Learning (Primary)

The Primary School at our esteemed institution caters to 700 students from Pre Kindergarten through to Year 6, with state-of-the-art facilities that include an award-winning Early Learning Centre, Upper Primary classes, specialist facilities, sports facilities and The Lakes Theatre.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Dean of Teaching & Learning (Primary). As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of our students and fostering a culture of excellence within our school community.

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and oversight of teaching and learning in the Primary School, including the direction of classroom practice, teacher professional development and the implementation of evidence-based instructional strategies. You will also work collaboratively with other members of the leadership team to drive school-wide initiatives and improve student outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of contemporary pedagogy and wellbeing paradigms. You will also need to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth, as well as a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of teaching and learning in the Primary School

Requirements:

  • Living Christian faith
  • Curriculum &/or pastoral and teaching experience
  • Sound understanding of contemporary pedagogy and wellbeing paradigms
  • Strong team building and organisational capacity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • National Police Certificate (NPC)
