Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Laboratory Technician in our Geochemistry Division located in Malaga.

The Job Description

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of a team that strives to deliver quality results on time by operating ICPMS instrumentation and undertaking various duties including analysis of geochemical samples, instrument/equipment calibration and maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and testing of standards and instrument QC solutions, and quality control raw data review.

Once training is complete, you will be able to work independently and take ownership of your tasks.

The Essential Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification or Diploma in a chemistry-related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus are essential.
  • Previous or similar instrumentation experience is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.
  • You must be willing to work within a team environment and multitask to produce accurate results.
  • Shift work will be required.
