Job Overview

As a Credit Underwriter, you will be responsible for conducting thorough credit assessments and approvals within designated lending guidelines. You will work closely with our residential credit team to meet performance targets and drive customer-focused outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct credit assessments and approvals for residential loans within designated lending authorities
  • Collaborate with valuers, solicitors, brokers, and financial advisors as required
  • Participate in workshop scenarios with relationship managers to ensure compliance with credit policies
  • Contribute positively to our company culture and work environment

Requirements

  • 3+ years of residential credit experience
  • Current or previous experience holding a designation of at least $500k
  • Desirable: non-confirming lending experience
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Well-developed relationship-building skills
