As an Employee Relations and Compliance Specialist at Goodstart Early Learning, you will play a critical role in translating our People strategies into impactful actions. You will design balanced people solutions, mitigate risks, and enhance employee experiences, driving our integrated ER and HR Compliance strategy aligned with our values and goals.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective employee relations strategies to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Provide expert advice on employment legislation, including Fair Work Act, Bullying legislation, Discrimination and privacy legislation, and WHS legislation.
- Manage and develop complex Employee Relations case management, including support documents, case conciliation, and coaching.
- Collaborate with the broader People Team to identify areas of HR compliance vulnerability and risk, proposing remediation and improvements in line with our KPIs.
- Co-lead work where we need to be represented in the commission and support the implementation of a new EA, especially in understanding the needs of the People Support Team.

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Law, or equivalent experience.
- Deep knowledge of national and state-based employment legislation.
- Skilled in the management and development of complex Employee Relations case management.
- Achieve positive people outcomes while mitigating risk.
- Change Management skills highly regarded.
- Strong business acumen, using your understanding to connect people strategy to the achievement of business outcomes.
- Leveraging your proven partnering experience with engagement at a senior level, to influence and shape exceptional employee experiences.
