About the Role

This position can be based anywhere in Australia, providing flexibility and work-life balance. As a Smart Buildings Infrastructure Design Consultant, you will play a crucial role in designing innovative solutions that shape the way buildings are maintained and operated.

Our approach focuses on delivering value-based, advanced technology design, ensuring buildability and performance while meeting sustainability and wellness goals. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the advisory and design of advanced technologies in modern, smart, and iconic projects.

The successful candidate will ensure coordination with other disciplines and meet client needs, providing technical support and mentoring junior staff members. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent training in networking and computer science.
  • RCDD, CCNA, or CISSP certifications are considered an asset.
  • Experience in the design of physical infrastructure and network cabling, including telecommunications rooms, server rooms, cable tray, interconnection, etc.
  • General understanding of network protocols and concepts, such as IP addressing, subnet masks, VLAN, link aggregation, DHCP protocol, etc.

You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
