Job Role: Laboratory Technician

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced laboratory technician to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Kwinana Beach. As a laboratory technician, you will be responsible for conducting various tests and analyses on materials to ensure their quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of belt samples for testing
  • Physical testing of rubber, fabric belting & belt samples
  • Instrument calibration
  • Preparation and testing of vulcanized test sheets
  • Compliance with outlined specifications

Requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing or heavy engineering environment (desirable)
  • Experience working in a material testing laboratory
  • BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF QUALITY CONTROLS FOR TESTING PROCESSES
  • Self-managed, energetic, and driven individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Mechanical mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Hold full Australian work rights
