**About the Role**
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a delivery driver in Townsville. This role involves delivering parcels, boxes, and freight to residential homes, businesses, and shopping centres.
As a delivery driver with Achieve Group, you will be required to learn and use a PDA scanning system, which provides full training. You will need to be able to lift heavy loads, walk, bend, and push throughout your shift each day.
The majority of your deliveries will involve hand loading and unloading, making it essential to have good physical fitness and stamina.
**Salary Information**
The hourly rate for this position is $34.50 per hour for an open car licence, while those with an MR licence or higher will earn $36.00 per hour.
**Requirements and Skills**
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
• Hold an open car licence (minimum)
• Possess a great friendly personality
• Have good knowledge of technology
• Be physically able to carry out the role
• MR licence and forklift operation are advantageous
**Work Details**
This is a Monday-to-Friday role, with early morning starts and finishes around 4:30 pm. The working hours will be approximately 35-45 hours per week.
