Job Title: Aerospace Engineer

Are you an experienced aerospace professional looking for a challenging role in structural integrity assessment and management? Do you have a strong background in engineering structures or ASI/PSI field?

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Aircraft and Propulsion Structural Integrity (ASI/PSI) programs, with a focus on addressing issues through data collection, analysis, and action plans.
  • You will also participate in annual working groups to address safety considerations and contribute to technical working groups and conferences.
  • Additionally, you will perform periodic reviews of reports such as Quarterly Structural Appraisal of Fatigue Effects (SAFE), Annual Structural Condition Analysis Report (SCAR), and identify actions from these reviews.
  • You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with Defence Aviation Regulations (DASR) and other relevant standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Hold or be eligible for Engineers Australia Membership at the level of MIEAust.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in engineering structures or ASI/PSI field as a practicing design engineer in the aviation industry.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Defence Aviation Regulations (DASR).
