Job Title: Venue Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Venue Risk Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing data and developing high-quality risk insights to inform business decisions.

This is a 6-month fixed term opportunity to work in a highly collaborative and supportive environment. As a Venue Risk Management Specialist, you will collaborate with stakeholders across various functions to understand related strengths and opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Group Operations Risk Manager with analysis of datasets from across the Risk and Protection functions.
  • Extracting and cleansing required data, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure timely updates to the 'At Risk' venue dashboard.
  • Providing fit-for-purpose reports that identify exception-based, actionable insights for Operations Leaders and other business leaders.
  • Constructing, producing, and socialising regular leadership team updates on behalf of venues, to provide information on shrinkage, criminal activity, and team member risk incidents.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of risk strategies based on data and insight opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A thorough understanding of Venue Operations.
  • Solid understanding of Point of Sale (POS) and inventory management systems.
  • Intermediate-advanced skills utilising various software applications (Google Suite, Tableau etc).
  • Proficient in presenting data in various forms for presentations (Google Slides).
  • Successful Venue Management experience.
  • Data/analytics experience in a significant retail or commercial business.
  • A curious, authentic approach, with the ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders across various functions.
  • The ability to remain composed and resilient when working under pressure.
