Job Overview

You are a key player in our Defence programs, responsible for spares development, management and analysis of equipment through life management to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of defence products.

As an Engineering Technician, you will support Integrated Product Support activities, contribute to engineering decisions, develop documentation and outcomes, and be involved in obsolescence and disposal activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support IPS activities including life cycle cost analysis, planned maintenance documentation and technical publications.
  • Contribute to engineering team decisions and the development of LORA, MTA and OTA documentation and outcomes.
  • Involved in trade-off analysis during design and modification of equipment and associated logistics support requirements.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the engineering lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship with a Defence security clearance.
  • Technical vocational qualification or certificate.
  • Experience in ILS acquisition or sustainment programs.
  • Understanding of applicable ILS/IPS and Engineering Toolsets.
  • Previous experience in a technical maintenance and support environment.
