Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our supportive team at our Hurstville clinic.

The successful candidate will be part of a close-knit team of nurses who deliver best practice care in Radiation Therapy.

They will be involved in providing comprehensive patient education, collaborating with Radiation Oncologists/Haematologists and the multidisciplinary team.

The role involves attending patient assessments, establishing a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological and spiritual support to patients, family and friends.

The ideal candidate will have current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated clinical and problem-solving skills and ability to plan and coordinate the clinical management of care.

Experience in the field of Oncology is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as a team member and demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend patient assessments

  • Provide comprehensive patient education

Requirements:
  • Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA

  • Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles
  • Desirable experience in the field of Oncology
