About the Role

As the Software Licensing Lead at Bunnings, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective management of software licenses across the organization. This involves working closely with the Software License Manager and key stakeholders to acquire, manage, and comply with software licenses, as well as providing governance oversight for the acquisition and management of software contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the acquisition, compliance, and financial oversight of software licenses across Bunnings.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and end-users to meet software needs and ensure license compliance.
  • Monitor software license usage and expiration, maintaining accurate records for compliance, risk, and financial purposes.
  • Manage budgets and reconciliation for specific software portfolios.
  • Provide governance oversight for the acquisition and management of software contracts.
  • Support procurement-related activities such as sourcing, option modelling.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar technology role, such as an IT Category Specialist or IT Procurement Specialist, dealing with a large array of software vendors and a good knowledge around different licensing models.
  • Strong Vendor relationships within the Technology Industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to review and assess Commercial Terms for Technology Agreements.
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with a focus on accurate document and record keeping.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Vendor negotiation experience is highly desirable.
