About the Role:

The Trust Manager - Native Title Expert will play a critical role in ensuring the effective administration of our Aboriginal native title trusts in accordance with legislative and business guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer native title trusts in accordance with legislation, company policy, and procedures, ensuring profitable and sound commercial outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with executive offices, advisory councils, and co-trustee functions to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Develop a deep understanding of traditional owner communities' needs and circumstances to optimize trust relationships and improve our offering.
  • Provide support to internal stakeholders in addressing operational needs and contribute to the development of procedures related to trust administration.
  • Ensure timely completion of timesheets and maintain accurate records.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum three years' experience in a relevant field, such as estate and/or trust administration, with a trustee company, finance company, or legal firm, Aboriginal Corporation, or non-profit organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated relationship management capabilities and effective time management, prioritization, and delegation skills.
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills, with a commitment to consistently demonstrating Perpetual values – integrity, excellence.
