AusNet Services is seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Development Lead to join our team in Southbank, Melbourne.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in secondary electrical engineering and technical leadership to drive business growth within AusNet's infrastructure divisions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist engineering and technical guidance to support the development and delivery of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective engineering strategies to enhance network performance and reliability.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to manage project scopes, designs, and construction activities.
  • Evaluate and mitigate technical risks associated with project development and delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of engineering standards and guidelines.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and partners through technical representation and advocacy.

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in utilities, with a focus on design and asset management.
  • Significant knowledge of secondary electrical equipment, including relay programming, configuration, and testing.
  • Extensive experience in terminal station and substation design, construction, and operation.
  • NER certification and chartered engineering status are highly desirable.

What We Offer

AusNet Services offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience.
