We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating a range of activities, from simple tasks to complex projects.


Key responsibilities of the role include:



  • Designing and implementing networking projects and systems, including Windows Server 2003-2019, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, RDS, and more
  • Developing and administering new network solutions and improving the efficiency of current networks
  • Monitoring, supporting, testing, and troubleshooting computer systems and networks, including Azure and AWS and Microsoft Windows Server-related issues
  • Managing software and system updates and analyzing possible vulnerabilities
  • Managing user access levels for computer networks and systems
  • Configuring and managing firewalls, domain controllers, network devices, and Microsoft Windows Server to maximize network efficiency and security
  • Reviewing and submitting recommendations for improvements required for Microsoft Windows server-related issues
  • Setting up advanced monitoring and analyzing collected network traffic data to ensure system security
  • Managing the Data Centre, IT, and Communication Infrastructure and troubleshooting issues within the SLA timeframe
  • If required, attending the Data Centre site for support
  • Managing Azure and AWS configuration, including any upgrades required

Key skills and qualifications include:



  • Good technical knowledge across Windows 2008-2018 Server, desktop: Windows 7, 8, 10, Apple macOS, mobile devices: Android, iOS, Active Directory/Azure AD administration, Microsoft M365 administration/management, different vendors DNS, DHCP, SSO management, hardware support – server, desktop, laptop, network knowledge – TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, MPLS, WiFi, NAT, proxy, routing/switching knowledge – Cisco, Huawei, DrayTek experience and certification valued, working with a range of Backup/Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity solutions – Datto and Veaam experience valued, monitoring systems (PRTG, Datto RMM, Auvik), ticketing system – ServiceNow, review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
