About the RolesLocation: Dandenong
We have two full-time roles available, with one role focusing on guarding duties and the other as a reliever to cover dropped shifts, leave, and spare shifts. Both roles are Level 4 positions with 12-hour shifts and involve working in gatehouse security roles.
These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:
- Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Excellent customer service skills
- Lateral thinking to solve issues that may arise
- Understanding of communication lines and chain of command
- Understanding of emergency and alarm response protocols, including fire systems
- Protecting and maintaining security and integrity of buildings and infrastructure
- Submitting electronic or paper incident and hazard reports
- Being well-presented and well-spoken
- Good IT skills
To be successful in these roles, you will need:
- A valid VIC Security License
- A valid VIC Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid
- Strong customer service skills
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
- Ability to work in a rotational roster (nights, days, weekends)
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports
- Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
