The Role
We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team at La Trobe University in Bundoora. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a visible security presence on campus, responding to incidents, and ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the campus to deter and detect potential security threats
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a professional and timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors
- Work collaboratively with other security personnel and university staff to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Current Victorian Security Licence
- Certificate II in Security Operations with Control Room Licence
- Current Valid First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
- Valid Full Driver's Licence
