Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to join our team at THE ICONIC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to create and maintain a proactive safety culture across our warehouse and corporate office environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Health, Safety & Wellbeing team of two
- Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to align on project/program goals, resources, and provide hands-on advice
- Develop and implement strategies to create and maintain a proactive safety culture
- Embrace our health and safety platform and ensure utilisation of the systems for capturing health and safety information is effective for reporting purposes
- Communicate the overall program roadmap and provide periodic status updates to stakeholders, and present programs/projects to senior leadership on a regular basis
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in a similar role leading a small team of health and safety professionals
- Experience in a business that has both an office and operational environment
- Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety Management
- Demonstrable experience implementing a behaviour-based model of safety
- Significant understanding of all safety and related legislation and Workers Compensation claims
