
Principal Regulation and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Principal Regulation and Compliance Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Reportable Conduct Scheme, conducting investigations and compliance actions, and applying a child and youth-centered approach to their work.
">Job Description:
- Oversight of the Reportable Conduct Scheme operations, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
- Conducting investigations into allegations of misconduct, providing expert support and advice to stakeholders.
- Developing and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure efficient and effective delivery of functions.
- Providing strategic support and advice to senior leaders on operational priorities, policy development, and regulatory matters.
- Actively supporting the implementation of strategic priorities, including awareness raising, education, and championing child-safe standards in organizational settings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Law, Social Science, or related field.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in regulation, administrative law, or the conduct of investigations and/or compliance activity.
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (employment).
- Ability to manage complex caseloads and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
