Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy Weekend team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. The successful candidate will be involved in assessing and treating orthopaedic, plastics, and emergency secondary contact patients on weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical management for orthopaedic, plastics, and emergency secondary contact patients
  • Assess, plan, and treat orthopaedic inpatients, including education
  • Communicate assessment and treatment outcomes to nursing, medical, and Allied Health staff
  • Advise on the care of orthopaedic inpatients in outlying wards when requested

Requirements

  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications (completed or working towards completion)
  • Extensive experience in managing a wide range of physiotherapy conditions, particularly soft tissue injuries, spinal, and peripheral joint injuries
  • High level of clinical reasoning and clinical knowledge
