Job Opportunity

Casual Kindergarten Teachers are required to support the engagement, creativity and delight of four to five-year-old children in our coeducational programme.

The curriculum caters for the important cognitive, social, emotional and physical needs of each child, encouraging creativity, questioning, problem solving, social skills and self-confidence.

Teaching Position

We invite suitably experienced and qualified Kindergarten Teachers with a caring and contemporary outlook to apply for casual positions starting as soon as possible.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop sessions that cater for the needs of all children, supporting those with additional learning needs.
  • Plan and implement curriculum to promote children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.
  • Evaluate and improve programs and practices to provide high-quality learning and development outcomes.
  • Lead a team of educators in the room, establishing a positive environment that fosters a love of learning and care and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents and specialists to support children's development and wellbeing.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in early childhood education.
  • Suitable qualifications (Bachelor of Early Learning or higher) and registration.
  • An understanding of and commitment to contemporary practices in early childhood.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with children, staff and parents/guardians.
  • An ability to work effectively in a small team.
  • A valid Working With Children Check, National Criminal Record Check and current first aid qualification, including anaphylaxis.
