About Supreme Court Role
The role of Associate to a Justice is available in the Common Law Division of the court. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the production of judgments, including proofreading and editing.
Key responsibilities include clerking in court, reviewing files and orders, performing administrative tasks such as maintaining court records and preparing material for use by the judge in court.
About the Position:
- This is a challenging opportunity for a legally qualified individual to work closely with a Justice and contribute to the delivery of justice.
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- A strong academic record and proficiency in grammar are essential for this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualification in Law with 1-2 years post-admission experience desirable but not essential.
- Exceptional proofreading and writing skills, including an ability to accurately convey complex information over the telephone, in person, and via written communication.
