Supreme Court Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as the associate to one of our esteemed Supreme Court justices.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the criminal division of the Supreme Court, working closely with the justice and other court staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Assist the justice in preparing for court hearings, including researching case law and drafting documents.
- Manage the justice's calendar and schedule appointments and meetings.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining court records and preparing materials for use by the justice in court.
- Clerk in court and assist the justice during hearings.
- Liaise with court staff, the public, and the legal profession.
- A strong academic record, preferably with a law degree or close to completion.
- Excellent proofreading, editing, typing, and computer skills.
- An advanced organizational capacity and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in English grammar and excellent communication skills.
- A keen appreciation of the importance of the work of the court and the role of an associate in that work.
