We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to work with vulnerable adults as a Support Worker. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to work full-time while studying a Certificate III in Individual Support.

As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with their daily living activities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being. You will work under the supervision of experienced professionals, learning essential skills and gaining practical experience in providing person-centered care to a diverse range of clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting individuals with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supporting individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Fostering a positive and empowering atmosphere that promotes independence and dignity.
  • Providing companionship and engaging in social activities with clients.
  • Helping individuals with meal preparation and nutritional support.
  • Observing and reporting any changes in clients' physical or mental conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records related to client care.

  • Be willing to learn and follow instructions from experienced professionals.

Additionally, the following essential requirements must be met:

  • Hold a driver's license and reliable transport.
  • Be able to provide a National Police Check.
  • Able to obtain a Blue/Yellow Card.
  • Provide documentation of vaccinations, including those related to Flu/Covid-19 if required.

To be eligible you must be an Australian citizen, Permanent resident, or hold a valid visa that allows you to work and undertake training in Australia.
