Job Title: Support Care Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a Support Care Specialist to join our team in providing high-quality support services to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. As a key member of our team, you will work on a flexible roster in Caboolture and surrounding areas.

  • Assist with personal care activities such as showering, toileting, dressing, and more
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Support with mobility and transfer of individuals using hoists and slide sheets
  • Contribute to domestic duties including cleaning, laundry, or meal preparation
  • Accompany individuals to community events and appointments

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and possess a calm and confident demeanor in various environments.

Requirements:
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • A Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities)
  • A Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Full COVID-19 vaccinations
  • A smartphone with iOS 13.0 or Android 6.0 operating system
