Job Description

The role of a Caring Support Specialist involves providing direct care and support to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care, physical, and emotional support to residents;
  • Collaborating in the development and review of individualized care plans;
  • Documenting and reporting any observed changes in resident health to registered nurses;
  • Maintaining the dignity and privacy of all residents and their representatives;
  • Supporting the provision of a comfortable, safe, and secure environment.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • A compassionate nature and ability to care for seniors;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support;
  • Willingness to work varied shifts across a 7-day week;
  • Current National Police Check or ability to obtain.
