About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team at eFinancialCareers Ltd. as a key member of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Managing Director and Leadership team to drive strategy and optimize performance by providing financial insights and analysis.
  • Lead the monthly forecasting, quarterly business reviews, and annual budgeting process to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Conduct end-to-end financial analysis, including drivers of revenue, cost, and headcount, to inform business decisions.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and relevant fact-based financial information and commercial insights via value-added reporting.
  • Develop and implement key performance measures, trend analyses, and other operational insights to improve transparency and drive business growth.
  • Challenge business partners to fully understand risks and opportunities and strive to optimize performance.
  • Perform competitor analysis and provide competitor landscape to the business and support with strategic positioning of the business.
  • Fully contribute to the commercial development of the business, working with the senior management team, external third parties, and other stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Critically appraise all cost-benefit analysis relating to acquisitions, disposals, capital investments, and business development proposals.
  • Support the development and implementation of effective strategy.
  • Drive a program of continuous improvement across financial reporting and analysis systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with Controllership to ensure effective working capital management and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in coaching and developing junior finance colleagues.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues across distinct functions and bring people together to achieve a result.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, lead, and coach.
  • A curious mind, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to perform complex financial analyses (including CBAs and investments) and build financial models.
  • Strong financial acumen, combined with a solid basis of technical accounting knowledge.
  • CPA/CA/MBA Finance qualifications preferred with at least 7-10 years of partnering experience in finance/insurance industry.
  • The ability to manage, organise, and analyse high-volume data.
  • The ability to think commercially, understand business drivers, provide insights, and tell the story behind the numbers.
  • Ability to shape and inform strategy and decision-making and influence stakeholders.
  • An eagerness to learn and a passion for improving processes.
  • Ability to use financial IT systems to efficiently deliver service.
