Job Description

As a leading provider of pet care services, Kip Happy Stays sets the benchmark for excellence in delivering exceptional care to every furry friend that walks through our doors.

We are seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our teams at Kip Hobart and Kip Cambridge. Our ideal candidate will be available to work flexible hours during weekdays, with a preference for mid-week availability (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise groups of dogs and manage their behaviours to maintain wellbeing and safety
  • Provide canine enrichment through play and scheduled activities
  • Implement daily leadership and training activities
  • Frequently clean and upkeep the facility
  • Build and maintain rapport with dog owners through daily feedback and transparency
  • Create and distribute media content for dog owners through videos and photos
  • Administer daily tasks such as answering enquiries and record keeping

Requirements
  • Available to attend an unpaid work trial shift (operated within Fair Work guidelines)
  • Confident in physically handling larger dog breeds
  • High level of communication and empathetic skills
  • Able to work long days, on your feet, in a high-pressure environment
  • A strong desire to learn more about canine behaviour and training
  • Comfortable with computer systems and phone applications
