We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Partner to support our salmon sites across Tasmania. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the environment and wants to make a difference.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in environmental management or a relevant industry experience, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships. They will also be flexible and able to work in a changing environment.

Key duties of the role include:

  • Implementing and integrating fit-for-purpose management systems across each site;
  • Providing environmental management support, advice and coaching to achieve business objectives and good practices;
  • Coordinating waste management activities;
  • Coordinating environmental compliance activities for land-based sites;
  • Developing, updating and maintaining management plans and statutory documentation.

As an Environmental Partner, you will play a key role in ensuring that our operations are environmentally sustainable and responsible. You will work closely with our teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that benefit both our business and the environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in environmental management or a relevant industry experience;
  • Experience in Integrated or Environmental Management Systems;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships;
  • Flexibility to work in a changing environment;
  • Highly organized and systems-focused, with insight into business needs.
