Job Title:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Configuration Management Lead to join our Defence sector team in Canberra, Australia.
The successful candidate will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of Configuration Management processes and frameworks in alignment with Defence policies and standards.
- Develop CM process roadmaps and oversee their implementation.
- Manage Configuration Items (CIs) across the capability lifecycle.
- Support engineering teams in system baseline identification, control, and verification.
- Maintain and enhance the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Review and approve CM documentation, such as Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) and change control records.
About This Role:
This is a key leadership position that requires strong technical expertise and business acumen. The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively in a complex, regulated environment.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Information Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Configuration Management within a Defence or complex, regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of Defence standards, CM tools, and change management frameworks.
- Australian Citizenship is essential for Defence security clearance requirements.
