Job Title: Wine Ambassador

 

Job Summary:

The Wine Ambassador is a key position responsible for implementing and managing the wine program, driving team performance to an exceptional standard, and contributing to the overall success of the business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the wine program, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance results.
  • Create and maintain training programs to educate staff on wine knowledge and service standards.
  • Maintain high beverage quality standards and monitor production from the bar and kitchen.
  • Participate in relevant committees to ensure compliance with procedures, including security, fire, and health and safety regulations.
  • Manage beverage and consumable stock levels effectively, controlling costs and minimizing waste.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, including health and safety, sustainability, and food safety protocols.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
  • Excellent personal presentation and professional image.
  • Hygienic work practices, efficient time management, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships and undertake further development opportunities.
