Lead Financial Management

The financial management role is a critical position in the organization, responsible for overseeing all financial activities. The ideal candidate will have a strategic viewpoint, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy, aligning it with overall business goals.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial data accuracy.
  • Partner with other leaders to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and existing actions.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling efforts, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain financial software and systems to streamline processes.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements in finance and recommend appropriate tools.
  • Identify and manage financial risks, including credit, liquidity, and market risks.
  • Oversee cash flow to ensure liquidity needs are met and optimise working capital.
Candidate Profile
  • Over 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including time in senior management roles.
  • Tertiary qualification: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field, with Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • Demonstrated experience in financial leadership, regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to convey complex financial information.
  • Strategic thinking and a demonstrated ability to contribute to overall business strategy.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • High standards of integrity and ethical conduct in financial management.
