Job Summary

We are seeking a Visiting Medical Officer in General Practice with Advanced Skills in General Practice Anaesthesia to provide specialist services that are safe, effective, evidence-based and patient-centered.

Responsibilities
  • Provide contemporary comprehensive professional specialist services including admitting consulting diagnosing performing procedures and providing outpatient telehealth and on-call services as required.
  • Attend and be available during rostered hours and on-call including clinical handover supervision teaching and emergency and routine care.
Requirements
  • A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners / Australian College of Rural Remote Medicine or equivalent.
  • Recognised qualification of Advanced Skill in General Practice Anaesthesia JCCA DRGA.
  • Recent and comprehensive experience in General Practice.
  • Strong communication collaboration management professionalism and advocacy skills.
