Specialist Healthcare Provider in General Practice

About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished specialist to provide expert services in General Practice, with Advanced Skills in General Practice Anaesthesia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality patient care through admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth and on-call services as required by the district.
  • Participating in education and research activities to enhance medical professional development and support staff acquisition of knowledge.
  • Maintaining effective communication with patients, students, healthcare professionals and the public through oral and written skills.
  • Collaborating within an interdisciplinary framework and networking with stakeholders across various settings.
  • Leading clinical teams and contributing to safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners / Australian College of Rural Remote Medicine.
  • Recognised Qualification of Advanced Skill in General Practice Anaesthesia (JCCA, DRGA).
  • Recent and comprehensive experience in General Practice, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to participate in education and research activities and contribute to improving individual and societal health.
