Job Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate care professional to join our team. As a key member of the support services team, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered quality care to individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and assistance with daily living activities.
  • Support clients to access recreational services, transport services, and advocate for their needs and rights.
  • Complete client documentation, including writing case notes and updating the client management system.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized support plans that promote independence, autonomy, and participation.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications, such as Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of disability legislation and policies, including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
  • Current NSW driver's license (automatic gearbox) and ability to transport clients safely.
